Veterans Park District is updating its Comprehensive Plan. We are in the process of studying the programs, facilities and recreational needs of our communities. Please take a few minutes to completethe following survey and give us your thoughts on how we may serve you better. All households that complete the survey will receive $5 off a program or trip!

Breakfast with the Bunny

Saturday, March 24 • 10-11:30 a.m.
Bulger Park, Melrose Park

Come out for a fun-filled morning! Get your family together and head to Bulger Park for Breakfast with the Bunny! Families will enjoy a breakfast, play games and receive their very own picture with the Bunny — please bring your own camera.

This event includes:
• Hot Breakfast • Games & Prizes • Special surprise for every child that attends!

Preregistration is necessary to guarantee a table for you and your family.

In District: $5 Ages 3-10 $7 Ages 11-Adult
Out of District: $6 Ages 3-10 $8 Ages 11-Adult
Children under 3 are admitted for free but still need to be registered for the gift count.
Registration Deadline is March 16

Recycled Art Earth Day Fair

Tuesday, April 17, 6-7:30 p.m.
Bulger Park, 1601 Hirsch St., Melrose Park

Come join the Veterans Park District Green Team, Preschool, Special Recreation and After School Care celebrate Earth Day with their original works of recycled art.

Crafts • Games • Demonstrations Healthy Snacks • Raffles

***Cook County Clean Air Bus will visit the Preschool. Everyone welcome! The bus will be at Bulger at 3 p.m. Drop off items for recycling: Ink and toner cartridges, electronic type batteries, cell phones and eye glasses.

This is a free family event.

Kids Day in the Park

Saturday, May 19, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Come out and enjoy the newly renovated Montoya Park! In addition to the new playground, there will be face painting and refreshments. Montoya Park is located at 135 N. 18th Ave. in Melrose Park.
