Qualifications:
Coursework from a university or college in Therapeutic Recreation and a minimum of 2 years experience working with persons who have disabilities.
Duties:
Coordinate the planning, implementation, development and evaluation of special recreation programs. Must be willing to outreach to the community and have activities that occur on evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development. Be able to pass background check and random drug test. Hours must be flexible. (9 Months a year - Off for the Summer)
Duties:
- Ability to effectively manage staff.
- Able to create detailed/professional lesson plans that staff can easily follow.
- Ability to work independently when necessary.
- Effectively manage the preschool budget and prepare cost effective activities that promote creativity and learning.
- Must be extremely skilled in Microsoft Applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Publisher.
- Create a professional and caring relationship with children and parents.
- Continuously research new curriculum and learning for children aged 3 - 5
- Handout bi-weekly reports and updates on children progress.
- Create weekly notes that detail the childs snack habits, mood and special things the child did this week.
- Update our sign out for safety procedure.
- Attend Conferences and deliver reports regarding information learned at Conferences to Director of Recreation.
- Create a Development and Learning Checklist for children.
- Create a weekly schedule for parents listing hour by hour activities for the week.
- Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
- Establish clear objectives for all lessons plans, units, and projects. Communicate those objectives to children.
- Assimilate arriving children to the school environment by greeting them, helping them remove outerwear, and selecting books of interest.
- Be willing to assist with other duties as assigned by Director of Recreation.
- Assume other responsibilities as assigned.
Work Hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
