Tickets for food, rides and activities will be for sale on the day of the event!

Pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.
Bring non perishable food items to donate to local food shelters!

Help provide food for the hungry. We are looking for individuals and/or corporations to help aid us in our mission to fight hunger in our surrounding communities during the holiday season. Please bring nutritious, non-perishable canned or packaged foods (no glass please) to any of the locations listed below.

On this Veterans Day think of how grateful we should be for all the Veterans who have sacrificed their lives by fighting for our freedom. For the past nine years, Veterans Park District has observed Veterans Day with a ceremony attended by community members, friends, employees, local schools, churches, and war heroes. Everyone is invited to observe and remember our soldiers during this moving ceremony.

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, December 19 • 10 a.m. | Bulger Park, Melrose Park


This is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. Breakfast With Santa has become a family tradition. Families will enjoy a hot breakfast with many tasty treats. Each family will receive a gingerbread house to decorate. A candy table will be provided, loaded with candies to create a special family decoration. Santa will have a gift for each child. Bring your camera! You'll want to capture the memories of that special visit with Santa.

• Hot Breakfast • Gingerbread House (one per family) • Gift from Santa for each child • Hot cocoa table • Special Holiday mug for children • Visit with Santa ($15 extra fee for each additional house.)

Preregistration is necessary to guarantee a gingerbread house for each family.
Registration Opens: Oct. 1 In District | Oct. 15 Out of District
In District: $11 — Ages 3-10 | $16 — Ages 11-Adult
Out of District: $13 — Ages 3-10 | $18 — Ages 11-Adult
Children under 3 are admitted free, but still need to be registered for the gift count.
Max: 125 people
Registration deadline is Dec. 4.
